After it’s successful debut at PLASA Focus: Leeds earlier in the year, we have now taken stock of our first demo unit; the QL 5.
The Yamaha QL5 boasts 32 + 2 fader configuration and adapts to a wide range of channel layouts. The QL5 is a compact console with large-scale capabilities.
It’s main features are:
- Mix channels: 64 mono, 8 stereo.
- Busses: 16 mix, 8 matrix (Input to Matrix supported).
- Local I/O: 32 in, 16 out.
- Fader configuration: 32 + 2 (Master).
- Stainless steel iPad support stays.
It’s smaller brother, the QL1, features 32 mono, 8 stereo mix channels and a 16 + 2 fader configuration.
